Established in the 1870s by Spanish merchant Juan López Díaz, this historic brand is revered by connoisseurs for its exceptional consistency and hallmark woody aroma. While once a highly popular premium brand prior to the Cuban Revolution, it remains a 'hidden gem' today, celebrated for its rich, medium-to-full flavored profile. Each cigar is 'Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga' (totally handmade with long filler), utilizing exquisite filler and binder leaves sourced from the world-renowned Vuelta Abajo region.
