Founded in 1834 by Ignacio Larrañaga, Por Larrañaga holds the title as the oldest Cuban cigar brand still in production. Renowned in the late 19th century as a luxury icon, it earned a reputation for impeccable consistency and elegant presentation. The brand is celebrated for its approachable light-to-medium strength and its signature sweet, caramel-like flavor profile. Its portfolio includes exquisite 'Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga' (handmade long filler) cigars using Vuelta Abajo tobacco, as well as highly-regarded 'Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Corta' (handmade short filler) options sourced from the Semi Vuelta region.
