Punch

Punch is the second oldest Cuban cigar brand, founded by Don Manuel Lopez. The brand name originates from the popular 19th-century British puppet show featuring a couple named Punch and Judy. The founder drew inspiration from this famous puppet and launched the cigar under the name 'Punch' in 1840. The male protagonist Punch from the puppet show also appears on the cigar band, wearing a red cap with a long tail, sitting in a chair smoking a cigar. In 1931, Punch moved production to a friend's factory, which is today's La Corona factory. The brand's medium-bodied flavor blends tobacco of different sizes from the Vuelta Abajo region, all handmade long filler cigars (Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga).
