Nicaragua's two tobaccos, grown in the mineral-rich volcanic soils of Condega and Estelí, provide the cigar's flavor and character. In particular, Nicaragua's Condega Visus, which matures in original single malt Scotch whisky casks, lends the cigar a mysterious sweetness and depth of flavor. The two different Visus tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and the dark Mexican tripe together create the complexity of this full-bodied blend. Distinctive flavors and aromas spoil the palate with shifting notes of black pepper, black coffee, sweetness, old leather, wood and spice.
